To kick off the celebration year, TAG Heuer launches the TAG Heuer Carrera 160 Years Silver Limited Edition, with a limited edition of 1,860 pieces, and will be available worldwide from June 2020.
The new replica Tag Heuer Carrera stainless steel chronograph inherits many design highlights of the original products, such as the timeless elegant dial, polished case and buttons. However, the shape of the watch is slightly different from the previous, and the size has also changed from the original 36 mm to 39 mm today. Due to the different structure of the Valjoux 72 movement in 1963 and the current Heuer 02 movement, the running seconds indicator is now at 6 o'clock instead of 9 o'clock. Another change from the original model is the shape of the central hour and minute hands. Today they are faceted and coated with beige SuperLuminova® fluorescent paint. The watch is equipped with a curved sapphire crystal, with the highly recognizable Carrera lettering and the HEUER shield logo printed on the dial. This retro look is reminiscent of the original Heuer Carrera series.
Black alligator leather strap, limited production of 1860 pieces-a tribute to TAG Heuer's founding year. At the same time, the words "One of 1860" and "LIMITED EDITION" are engraved on the case back.
