Second, it features a sapphire crystal caseback, revealing the Blancpain automatic Caliber 1150 (or 1153 in some models). As a key movement in the Fifty Fathoms collection, this movement has previously debuted in the 38mm Bathyscaphe, but unlike the Bathyscaphe version, it features a custom skeletonized oscillating weight, a unique design that pays homage to the historic movement that powered the original Fifty Fathoms in 1953.

The Reference 5010 case measures 42.3 mm in diameter and 14.3 mm in thickness. Available in either grade 23 titanium or 18K red gold (no stainless steel version available), it embodies both sportiness and luxury. The Reference 5010 is equipped with the same automatic caliber 1315 as the Reference 5015, but with the same skeletonized oscillating weight, a nod to the movement used in the original Fifty Fathoms.
