Tudor Ranger Dune White 2025

Since its inception, the Tudor Ranger underwent an upgrade in 2022. However, both the first and second generations featured cases with a diameter of 39mm or larger. With the resurgence of smaller men's watches, many had been hoping for a smaller version of the Ranger. The new Ranger watch now boasts a refined 36mm case diameter paired with a "Dune White" dial.

The main change in the 2025 Ranger: size. Throughout the series' development, case size has always been a key focus of product iteration. The name Ranger originates from a trademark registered by the brand's founder, Hans Wilsdorf, in 1929. However, at that time, "RANGER" did not refer to a specific model, but rather to describe the "adventure" attribute of the watch. The best Tudor replica watches at captainthewatch.is.

The 34mm stainless steel case and black dial feature Arabic numerals at 3, 6, 9, and 12 o'clock, with wide, arrow-shaped hands and hour markers coated with luminescent material. These details form the foundation of the series' design. After half a century, the modern Ranger made its return in 2014. Model Ref. 79910 draws directly from historical pieces in several design elements, particularly recreating the brand's early "rose" logo. On the other hand, the modern Ranger distinguishes itself from historical models with a red seconds hand and a 41mm case diameter, in line with contemporary trends.

The 36mm Tudor Ranger is not the third generation of the series. In terms of design, it largely retains the same dial layout as the 2022 model, essentially a scaled-down version. The only difference in specifications is the movement: the MT5402 in the 39mm model is replaced by the MT5400.

The Tudor MT5402 movement has a diameter of 26mm, while the MT5400 movement has a diameter of 30.3mm. Both movements feature a silicon hairspring and a free-sprung balance with micro-adjustment, boast a 70-hour power reserve, and are COSC certified. Attentive readers will have noticed that the 36mm Ranger uses the larger (30.3mm) MT5400 movement https://www.captainthewatch.is/.
